Why it makes a good gift
Best for : A host who sets a nice table and always has a few stems around the house.
Best occasion : Thanksgiving, a housewarming or Mother's Day.
Why it works : Three heights already make an arrangement on their own, so you don't need to know her taste in flowers for it to work on a table or mantel. The blue reads farmhouse without being loud. Rated 4.6 across 1,100+ reviews, at about $36.
Avoid if : Her home is all-white minimalist or very colorful, or she wants a vase for fresh bouquets: the listing doesn't say they hold water.
