Ninja CREAMi 7-in-1 Ice Cream Maker, Ice Cream, Gelato & More, NC299AMZ
✓ Product data checked October 15, 2026
The Ninja CREAMi NC299AMZ turns a frozen pint of base into soft frozen desserts with seven one-touch programs: Ice Cream, Gelato, Sorbet, Milkshake, Smoothie Bowl, Lite Ice Cream and Mix-In. You prepare a base, freeze it for 24 hours, then process it in minutes, and a Re-spin function processes it a second time for a softer texture. It comes with one 16-oz pint, a storage lid, a Creamerizer paddle and an outer bowl with lid, and the pint containers, lids and paddle are top-rack dishwasher safe, per the listing. Rated 4.5 across more than 4,200 reviews on Amazon US at about $220.
Why it makes a good gift
Best for : A home cook or dessert lover who likes making things from scratch and controlling the ingredients (protein-packed, low-sugar or dairy-free bases).
Best occasion : Christmas or a housewarming.
Why it works : It is a kitchen gadget people want but rarely buy for themselves: it makes ice cream, sorbet, milkshakes and smoothie bowls at home from ingredients they choose, and the Mix-In program folds in cookies, candy or fruit. The listing stresses easy one-touch programs, so it suits a whole household rather than only a serious cook. At about $220 with a 4.5 rating across more than 4,200 reviews, it is a main gift rather than a stocking stuffer.
Avoid if : The recipient has little freezer space or does not like planning ahead: the base needs to freeze for 24 hours. If they already own an older CREAMi, note that NC100, NC200, NC500 and NC700 pints do not fit this model.
